Brabus Vanish – Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series
Over the past couple years Mercedes has been doing a great job bringing new styles to their company and today we feature their Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series. Matte black has been all the craze recently so for their black series we can see that sleek style being used while still maintaining the power and handling that Mercedes is known for.
This Mercedes SL65 features larger turbos, bigger breaks, a new transmission and a new plastic piece seen on the hood, which I personally think the car could have been done without. Under the hood the engine dishes out 800 horsepower in a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12. That brings the top speed of this SL65 to 199mph and gives it a 0-60 time in the three second zone.
As for the body of the Mercedes they incorporated carbon fiber which makes the car 551 pounds lighter. That’s a big jump and something that will definitely make a change in the way the car drives. There is one bad thing about this car though and that is that only 350 will be made, ever. Make sure to check out some detailed shots below and let us know what you think.
