BMW Release Teaser for M1 Series
A while ago there had been rumors of plans to build a 1 Series M car. At the time BMW said there was no such thing in production. Over the past couple of months though we have been seeing teaser pictures of the car. The reasoning behind creating an M1 is due to the fact the M3′s and higher are pretty expensive cars so the M1 gives you a more affordable option in the M series.
You can expect the pricing to be around 5-10 thousand dollars cheaper then the average M3. You still get the nice M packages though as the car has a twin turbocharged straight six engine which pushes out 350 horsepower. You can check out some pictures as well as the teaser video below.
